STEP 1: SHOCK-ABSORBING SLAT BASES

SWISS SLEEP SYSTEM®'s unique slat bases have a flexible structure that adjusts ergonomically to the contour and weight of your body. This shock-absorbing foundation allows for better support of the spine and for more comfort at the same time. The slats are flexible laminated beech-wood strips attached to 3-D spring elements on the side rails. The spaces between these slats allow the necessary ventilation for self-cleaning of the mattress, which means fewer allergies. Slat bases need the right mattress to be able to function as a true adjustable bed.

STEP 2: FLEXIBLE MATTRESSES

A variety of mattresses are available for combined use with the adjustable bed bases. Together mattress and slat base make up an adjustable bed. Each model is designed to take advantage of the orthopedic benefits of the slat base. The various types of mattresses have a wide range of features and prices.
